Amtrak's 40th Anniversary Train |

I guess this is my favorite photo from this day being the weather was not at all what I prefer. Amtrak's Crescent num 19 arrives at Peachtree Station in Atlanta Ga. while the 40th Anniversary train waits on the Atlantic Steel lead. Two heritage units meet in routine service, can't beat that! I could have done with out being "manned" by a Amtrak employee, but we did have expressed permission to be on this section of the property, so you take what you can get. |
